Does anyone have a metal lathe that they could use to cut a new thrust ring groove into my Loki motor casing?

The 38mm casing just barely doesn't fit into a slimline motor retainer (Giant Leap) due to the thrust ring being 2mm too far from the aft end of the motor. If I could cut a new groove then I could use the casing without resorting to friction fit.

I have a 14"x40" lathe at work. If the casing fits through the chuck I can do it. I'll check it out on Monday. If you can get it at the October 15th meeting I can give it back to you on the launch on the 19th.
