Beverly Airport Booth

CMASS is going to have a booth at Beverly Airport Day which is part of Beverly Homecoming Week. To state the obvious, it's at the Beverly Airport in Beverly, MA. Bob Krech is organizing this and he needs some help. He'll be setting up a couple of tables and needs some volunteers and some rockets to display. The event is on Saturday August 3 from 9 to 3. Bill and I manned the CMASS booth at the first Annual Beverly Airport Day last Saturday. The event was organized by the Beverly Civil Air Patrol Squadron and several of the airport businesses as part of the annual Beverly Homecoming Week. I'll estimate that about 1,000 attended the 6 hour event which isn't bad for the first of its kind at the airport, and several hundred stopped by the CMASS booth to talk. Hopefully we'll get a few new flyers out to our launches.

My daughter Katie and I took advantage of the $30 helicopter ride out to Beverly Harbor and back. I think she enjoyed it as much as I did.
