Equipment Maintenance List 2012 was created by alan

Please post in this thread CMASS equipment items that need attention:

(1) New LPR and MPR blast deflectors

- Need a design that remains horizontal at launch and fits all 3 rod diameters.
- Prevents MPR from burning up velcro and clip wires in the middle.

I don't think that's a design problem. The Velcro isn't there to hold the wires up. It's there so we can wrap them up when we put them away. It's okay to use the Velcro to hold the wires up if it's done on the green stake below the pad head but I keep finding them wrapped up higher and that's when they get toasted.

Bob K, If you don't get an opportunity to drill the rod holes in the blast deflector blanks, bring them to the April 2012 Amesbury launch anyway and I can drill them out.

Bill S, Thanks for purchasing the wiring supplies, much appreciated. If you can get a date posted for "Equipment Maintenance Day" that would be great my calendar is starting to fill up.

The problem is that my calendar already is filled. April is gone. I might have May 5 open but we've been approached about a scout launch in NH that day. I think I've got the Saturday of the Memorial day weekend open or the first weekend in June. Does anybody have a preference?
