I'm glad I don't use magnetic apogee detectors any more.

You know I thought about the MADs and if they would be affected. When does the MAD arm? Is there a test procedure we can run to see if the magnet is interfering ? -Alan

I thing the 10 lbs. of steel the magnetic is stuck to is probably more of a problem. I still have a few MADs if you want to test one but I don't think it's a problem. I gave up using them because they never seemed to work anywhere but Amesbury. I know you're supposed to tweak them for your location but that wasn't it.

I launch one or twice at amesbury with the aerotech copper flat wire igniters, but if there is a better one to use please tell me and I will buy them. I dont like using the flat copper ribbon ones they are a pain most of the time. Thank you
Mark
