Many thanks to Scott Costigan and MMMSC for providing us a place to fly when our launch in Amesbury had to be canceled because of the fire hazard. It was a bit windy and not very warm but is was still a great day. The Berwick field is huge. We had around 75 flights. I tied down the low end with a MicroMaxx flight and the MIT USLI team covered the top end with an M. There were a variety of stuff in between. Congratulations to the two flyers who got their Level 1 certifications. As far as I know the MIT rocket was the only one that wasn't recovered by the end of the day. This picture is of Howard's rocket that spent some time in a tree but was recovered. There are other pictures in the gallery.

While searching on Google Earth, Bob Krech came across this image of Davis Field in Sudbury. You can clearly see the trailer and the range setup. There's a higher resolution image in the gallery. Considering we fly in Sudbury on only two days a year the odds of us being caught on camera are slim. However, this is not the first time. Years ago Phil Chouinard stumbled across a photo of us in Amesbury. There is also a higher resolution copy of that image.
