Our next launch in Amesbury is scheduled for 06 October.
September means hay on the hay field and soccer players on the soccer field leaving us without any of our usual places to fly. That's when our friends at the Maine Missile Math and Science Club (affectionately nicknamed the Maine Missile Moose and Squirrel Club) come to the rescue and we hold a joint launch with them. The Berwick field is only about a half an hour further north than Amesbury and it's worth the drive. Take a look at the panorama photo in the gallery. The field is a big flat sod farm. The launch was postponed to Sunday from Saturday because of mud from heavy rains earlier in the week. By Sunday everything was mostly dry. The weather was pleasant and the winds were low. There were about 180 flights. Besides the photos in the gallery you can find more here and here.
