The Bandits Strike Again

Well I'm here in Acton and all there is is a bunch of cricketers

4 of us launching!

Today I felt like the lone Bandit. I arrived in Acton at 10:15 AM and was ready to launch by 10:30 AM. There was someone from CAMSS and two adults and two young people from the JP Racketeers. They were setup close to the chicken house and road, because of the cricket players who were playing on the pitch closest to RT 2. According to Dave from JPR, they had a permit. I setup in my usual spot where CMASS sets up their pads. The cricket match didn't get started until 11:15 AM.

Later in the day, a family of three started launching rockets near the chicken house road, closer to the trees than the JPR group.

The conditions were perfect. It was not all that hot and there was a slight breeze blowing toward RT 2. I got in a total of 11 launches with no mishaps. The biggest engine was launched by one of the young people from the JPR club. On the way down it drifted just short of the high grass.

Today's launch proved that cricketeers and.rocketeers can coexist in Acton at the same time.
