Looks like we made the right calls. Saturday morning was icy and it rained heavily on Saturday afternoon, and it rained and snowed today.

Let's hope next Saturday is better. The long term Saturday forecast looks good with 5-7 mph wind, partially sunny but cool in the 30s. It's no guarantee, but Monday and Tuesday are predicted to be above freezing so the snow should continue to melt. Wednesday and Thursday are predicted to be cool, below freezing but sunny with strong westerly winds which should sublime the snow. Friday and Saturday are predicted to be above freezing with a snow shower possible Friday night. The weather by noon Saturday should be ok for a launch but dress warmly and make sure you have waterproof boots, and an extra pair of dry socks and pants, just in case you get wet.

Weather forecast for Saturday looks like it's deteriorating...80% chance of rain and snow, AGAIN.

We're keeping an eye on the weather. We have the option to move Sunday but they're calling for 16 mph winds. It's all going to depend on the timing of the rain. At best it's going to be unpleasant.

Actually the forecast for Saturday looks good. The wind will be low and the temperature ~40 in the afternoon. There is a slight chance of a shower (10%-20%) but it is not likely any precipitation is forecast to be well south of the Mass Pike.

This is the best Saturday weather in the past 8 weeks. If you need to qualify, this is the day to do it. Sunday will be colder and much more windy.

The road out to the launch site is not going to be drivable. Do not try.

Be prepared to walk 0.6 miles out to the launch site. Everything needs to be carried in. Dress in layers. Have waterproof boots and extra socks. Bring some water and sunscreen, and a hat and gloves.
