As the ground begins to thaw and the thermals emerge, we enter the Spring session of NRC event flying. The Acton launches of March 9, 23, April 6, May 11 and June 22 have all been registered with the NAR for NRC flying. The first Amesbury launch will be registered when I have the date.
To simplify the challenge of NRC flying, I propose flying the NRC events on the following schedule:
March 9: A R/G and B Payload Altitude
March 23: B Eggloft Altitude and 1/2A PD
April 6: A H/D and B SD
This will leave launches in April at Amesbury (perhaps), May 11 and June 22 at Acton for second efforts. The NRC contest year ends on June 30, making the June 22 launch our last launch for the 2023-2024 contest year.
