I noticed the other day, to my surprise, Hobby Lobby in Manchester, NH, is carrying Estes Rockets, including the Pro Series II. The benefit of this is, generally, they have a coupon for 40-60% off one item, which you can use once per day.

Thursday I was able to pick up an Estes Leviathan for $36, along with a few F and G motors they had in stock ($14 for the F's, 16 for the G's). This is my first venture into composite motors, I figured I'd bring it up.

Are there any local vendors in Southern NH/Northern MA that have higher power stuff available? I remember there was someone who was selling motors at the Amesbury launches.

CMASS has two members who are dealers for composite motors:

Howard Greenblatt, Secretary and Webmaster, vends Road Runner motors, some of the finest single use motors on the market.

Robert DeHate can supply all thing composite from CTI/Animal Motor Works.

Both tend to make it to most of the Amesbury launches and many of the others and can be sure to get product to you even if they aren't going to be attending if you contact them beforehand.
