Use of Cummings Estate/field in Burlington?

In going to the Burlington Mall via back roads today I was driving down Blanchard Road and saw that there's an decent-sized open field along it. The signs say it is the Mary Cummings Estate or Mary Cummings Park. I also saw a sign that says a Burlington R/C airplane club uses it.

Does anyone happen to know if people are allowed to launch model rockets there as individuals, as long as the RC'ers aren't using the field?

I haven't been there but looking at google maps it appears to be about 400 ft. wide by about 900 ft. long. That's about the same size as the soccer fields part of Davis Field in Sudbury (if you don't count the un-mowed part on the left - parking lot to your back). The general rule is just to make sure it's ok with the land owner. You might start by contacting the RC club to see who they get permission from. Chances are it should be fine if you are just flying small model rockets.
