The video for that one ends just before you started the countdown. It seems I forgot to delete the giant file that got created while John B. was searching for the camera in Muskegon. But you know me, one failure isn't going to stop me from trying again.....and again....and again. So I'll try it at the next launch even if it isn't going to rain. I need to build a mount to turn the camera on it's side. HD wasn't meant for rockets.

Bill,

Have you tried something less solid to seal the nozzle - like petroleum jelly or grease? It might last long enough to keep everything dry and still allow the motor to function. Not sure how conductive either might be though. Might have a problem with ignition.

I don't think the wax was the issue although I could have used a lot less. I think the combination of the igniter plug and the wax is what caused the problem. I don't see why grease wouldn't work.

Who was the fellow that came along at the end of the day looking for Mr. Flis? He was talking about an evening event on the 23rd of August, as I recall, and invited anyone who wanted to fly lighted rockets.

If we can get some details, it wouldn't be a bad thing to promote. It will be more than rockets as he was mentioning RC planes, too.
