See my other post about Motor Size in Sudbury. I think the rocket you are holding in your avatar would be risky at Sudbury, for example. Depending on wind direction, you could have the long direction of the field available for recovery. If you use a composite motor, I'd recommend single-use instead of a reloadable; if you do end up in a tree, you won't have lost the pricey hardware.
