Hi, a TV program "Large Dangerous Rocket Ships" will be on Science Channel, Sun 10PM.
LDRS TV Site
It is not clear if this is a repeat of one by the same title some time ago, or if has updated content.
I remember a casting call posted on our forum for a TV program akin to Mythbusters but with rockets. I'm not sure what ever became of that.

According to a thread on the Rocketry Forum, this show is all new taped just a few weeks ago.
The other show you remember from a few years ago was Timewarp. They used high-speed cameras to slow down various actions for mind-numbing replay. All they really wanted was some excuse to have a rocketry segment so they could build a full scale V-2 model, fill it with gasoline, light it and tip it over. I, for one, am happy they passed us by.

It's new. For those of you not familiar with LDRS, its Tripoli's yearly big launch. The show will lead you to believe that it's a competition. It isn't and what you'll see doesn't have a lot to do with the event. However, last year's was entertaining and didn't make the hobby look bad. Here's the promo for this year's show:
