According to the article in today's Union Leader, which by the way said they expected 20,000 people each day for Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 50,000 different people over all, that they also raced around the perimeter of the pond. Not the perimeter outside of the pond, the perimeter inside the pond. They had a boat hauling out the snowmobiles that didn't make it and sank. I would expect racing on the grass and/or on the water is not healthy for a stock snowmobile. The article also mentioned they expected 300 or so participants in the races. And people think we are crazy .
