August 9 Amesbury Launch

Hey, where was everyone? The August 9 Amesbury launch had everything you could ask for-clear skys, light wind, and reasonable temperatures. Yet, we only had about 250 flights. Evidently good rocket weather is also good beach weather because folks who arrived aftter the set up crew reported extremely heavy traffic and rides that took one and a half times the usual. We had vendors on site. Flis and AMW were there but, more importantly, an ice cream truck stopped by. We had the usual variety of flights from MicroMaxx through J. There are pictures in the gallery. I'm going to be brief because Kenn is writing an article about his return to flight and I want to leave him space.
