If you were at the launch there would be no doubt in your mind that summer is gone. The day started out cloudy, cold and windy and improved to sunny, chilly and windy by the end. The good news is that the wind was blowing down the long dimension of the field. With a little skill you could land your rocket close to the pads. With a little less skill you could combine your trip to recover your rocket and a trip to the portable toilets in one. Once again the miserable weather forecast kept attendance down but even so we had around 180 flights from MicroMaxx up to J.
