Hi Claude,
Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
I still have six D12-3 engines with date code E22 0323 that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I had a nozzle blow out earlier this year. Estes replaced the pack. I also filed a MESS Report.
I will file a claim when I get home tonight.

Last night I rounded up a total of twenty D12 motors that I have. Seventeen have a bad date code. I took nine photos that I zipped and sent to Estes along with filling out the online form. It was a lot of work but I appreciate that Estes is replacing them. I guess it pays to file those MESS reports and forward them to the manufacture.
