Yesterday's launch marked the end of the 2023-2024 NRC season for CMASS NRC flying. Thank you very much to all of those who helped out with timing and altimeter reading. Your support is greatly appreciated.
As an NAR section, we have qualified for the Section Championship, currently sitting in 10th position overall. Short of most of our members showing up at NARAM this summer, we will likely have to content ourselves with a 10th place showing.
Despite the poor conditions yesterday, my 2 qualified HD flights moved me up in the standings. Perhaps needless to say my 2 RG flights did little but give me more to repair.
2024-2025 NRC flying will start on August 10. CMASS launches scheduled for 7/6 and 7/27 will not include NRC flying, but will give you a chance to test fly for the NRC events. Our 8/17 launch will be the first NRC launch for the new competition year.
