CATO post mortem, bone-headed flyer

This is what happens when you are in a rush and neglect to insert spacers when using a short motor in a longer casing.  The rocket motor slammed into the front of the CTI casing, disintegrating the delay component and igniting the ejection charge.  The aluminum motor casing swelled up, fracturing the phenolic motor tube.  The parachute ejected on the way up, zippering the airframe.  The Shockwave fiberglass nose cone and electronics survived. No pics or video of the launch; it was not as dramatic-looking as it sounds.  Damage was mostly internal, no firery CATO display.  Repairs are underway.
