The
TARC Finalist list
was published today. Unfortunately none of the New England teams that flew with us made the cutoff; two teams from Connecticut are in the finals. Flying rockets in New England is not the easiest place in the country (weather, trees, etc) but that doesn't mean to say that it is impossible. Kenn's advice is most important here - get started early and get as many practice launches in as possible and work to refine and dial in the rocket to meet the requirements of the competition. Most of all, please don't leave things for the last minute. That never works out well. CMASS has a lot of resources available to those teams who want to take advantage of them - launches, mentors, equipment etc. You just need to ask.
Anyway, congrats to those teams who tried out and made the effort. We all had a lot of fun and we will be here for you next year!
