Are you on The Rocketry Forum? was created by KennB
I know some of our members also belong to The Rocketry Forum as I see them commenting on threads or posting threads of their own. For those who aren't on it or don't know about it, check out the link above to see what it offers. Lots of build threads, a good and bad source of information and some general interest not-necessarily-rocket-related threads.

For better or worse, they've recently opened up a category that allows politics and other controversial subjects. No one says you have to read everything if you don't want to. Just offering another place to spend your limited internet time.

As Kenn mentioned, The Rocketry Forum AKA TRF has a lot of good information. Even old threads from years ago are very helpful.

The National Association of Rocketry AKA the NAR, has a members only forum. That is also a good source for answers to any questions you have about rocketry. CMASS is a NAR section. Some of the reasons to join NAR:
Supports the hobby on a national level.
NAR insurance for members.
Certification program for those of you interested in High Power rocketry.
As previously mentioned, the NAR members forum.

TRF is a enormous treasure trove of rocketry information ... build threads on about everything, how-to's, q/a. I've used it extensively for the background sections of the articles that I write.

The "yardsale/wanted" is a great way to sell stuff you are not using, or buy stuff.

There are sub-cultures for about every type of rocket .. paper rockets, competition, scale, etc.

There does tend to be a lot of non-rocketry posts and chit chat. Most of these are relegated to a few threads.

If you are doing your L3, there are a lot of build threads along those lines and sample project reports.
