I'd like to attend but have another event earlier in the day.
I will try to be there as close to 3pm as I can.

I should be able to make it after grandson’s 1pm soccer game. I live right in Atkinson. Joe Robertson

Also planning to drive up from Brookline, MA to attend the full training on Saturday 3-7pm.

What's the specific location / address where the group will be meeting at 3?

Location for the classroom session 15 April starts at 1500 hours (3PM) in Haverhill MA 01830.

Practical hands-on session starts at 1700 hours (5PM) in Atkinson NH 03811. Have also planned activities for support role personnel so all hands are encouraged to attend both sessions.

Location directions click  HERE

Estimate 50-50 probability that practical hands-on session will include live burn conditions. If no fire permit, will mark fire lines on the ground.

Forecast for: Saturday 15 Apr 2023 (as of 14 Apr 2023 1300 hours)
Fire Danger: Moderate to HIGH Forcast Map ; NH Forest Rangers (NH area FDRA #5) Current Conditions
Wind: East-NE 8 Mph; Temp: 54 ; Rel Hum: 61% ; Precip: 0% ; Haines Index: 4 (Low)
An East wind is favorable for control purpose at the burn location.
A cold front is expect to pass thru on Friday which might lower the fire danger rating.
