September 4 Acton Launch - NRC Competition

Our September 4 launch at Acton has been approved by the NAR for NRC contest flying. Flying in all NRC events is available although you will need to provide your own altimeter and, if flying eggloft, your own eggs.

Thank you for setting this up. Question: I have several rockets to choose from to possibly enter in Sport Scale. Is this possible at a club launch given that it requires judging, not just measurable achievements?

Bumping my previous question about NRC Sport Scale. Just curious if club launches work for entries given that this competition requires judges. Thoughts?

My understanding follows Guys. CD/LCO/RSO assess flight for qualification and flight performance. Data and pictures for scale judging are uploaded to a google docs. This page explains the Sport Scale process: www.nar.org/contest-flying/. I will print out a Sport Scale flight judging for for this weekend.

Note that Sport Scale requires a return to assess damage to the model.

Thank you both for the replies! I scanned over that page multiple times and somehow kept missing the details for Sport Scale submissions. I'll be sure to follow those entry rules.
