TARC Launches for 2021 was created by KennB
CMASS has scheduled three dates for TARC teams to do practice and qualification flights. The proposed dates are 27 February, 20 March and 03 April. Keep and eye on the forum and calendar for any changed due to weather.

The launches will take place at Woodsom Farm in Amesbury, MA. Please see directions to the field under the Events tab on our website. We'll be set up and ready to go at 11 AM each day and will wrap up at 3 PM.

If your team is planning on utilizing our services, please contact our Senior Advisor  who is also our TARC coordinator.

As we weren't contacted by any TARC teams, we are cancelling the 27 February launch.

As the TARC deadline has been extended to 17 May, CMASS is adding another date for flying with us - 15 May.
We'll also support your efforts at our 24 April club launch.
We'll have the ground support equipment, timers and witnesses on hand.

Contact us to let us know you'll be attending any of our launches.

We have one team looking to fly with us on 15 May. Who can make it out to help?

The weather forecast is iffy both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Keep an eye on the website for any updates.

We have at least one team planning on flying with us on 15 May.

We can use a few club/NAR members to help with set up/tear down, witnessing and timing. Due to the grass being a bit more grown, the farmer has asked we not have too many people on the field. I'd like to keep it to no more than 10 helpers. If you do come to help, depending on conditions, you can bring a low- or mid-power rocket to fly.

Despite the recent relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions, please continue to wear a face cover at this outdoor event. As we see how the relaxation impacts the general population, we can work on the relaxation of our own guidelines..
