April launch - 23rd or 30th?

True, but both the Launch Status window on the front page and the launch schedule that it points to say that the next Amesbury launch is the 30th.
As of the last launch and club meeting, everyone was talking about the launch on the 30th, so I would plan for that

I\'ve heard rumors of a software upgrade but I thought they were just stories told around the glow of a blue laser to scare the children.

Funny...

It\'s getting there - but I had to rebuild the entire site from scratch. No way to upgrade from the version were were running. To many things broke or were unable to be upgraded.

I have the content like articles, FAQs, links, etc. transferred plus the users (which was the tricky part) and am working on the forum, gallery, calendar and general layout now. You can check out what\'s going on as I upload and configure stuff here: CMASS Staging Site . You should be able to log on and poke around a bit. Please ignore all the extra stuff about Joomla and the way the menus work etc. All will be perfect soon.
