July 4, 2011 Peabody Demo Launch

CMASS was asked to do a demo launch for the Ward 6 Peabody Fourth of July block party. Old timers may remember when we did something similar in Lincoln. Even though it was hot and a breeze would have been welcomed, the calm air helped is keep everything on field which was smaller than anything we've flown on in recent years. Fred, Nick and Joe and their families and Bob, Ed, Kenn and myself where able to provide about a half an hour of relatively intensive flying that hopefully kept the crowd amused. We were able to recover everything except one rocket that landed in a tree and a couple of little ones that vanished. The launch was followed by the obligatory trip to a local restaurant for debriefing. There are a few other photos in the gallery.
