Quest D20-4 Motors

I have three packs of Quest D20-4 motors in my range box. They take off very quickly with a burn time of only 0.8 seconds. A few years ago, I used one in a scratch built kit with a BT60 body tube. It took off so fast I barley saw it leave the pad. I was wondering what rockets people use them in, how much those rockets weigh, and if you use them in Acton.

Frank, I use them all the time, or at least I try to. The two rockets of mine that failed last Sunday both had D20-4's in them.

They are an 18mm engine, which makes them great for rockets that struggle with C6's. For mid power, they come in just under or right around anything D12-3 could do.

Hi Tim,

Maybe we can work out a trade. All three packs for either one pack of an Aerotech E20-4 or E30-4.

If you don't have those engines, how about a one for one pack trade for C11-5's.

I'm open to anything reasonable. I will miss the June 27th launch but plan to be at the July 11th launch.
