I received the following email regarding a story that will be published in the Worcester Telegraph & Gazette:

"Hi there, I am the content editor of Worcester Magazine, and editor of the Woo! Science column in the Telegram & Gazette.

I'm reaching out for two reasons;

We have a Father's Day feature coming up, focusing on fathers and father figures, and children, including adult children, engage in a partnership, whether work, hobby, the arts, volunteering, etc. Do you have any father-and-child teams in the club who might be interested in participating?

Second, I also have a column called, I Did This Today, and interested if possible in participating in the rocket launch on June 14 at the School Street Field in Acton. Very familiar with Acton, having served as editor of The Beacon!

Please let me know if you need more info; I can also be reached at 978 996 6592, and thanks!

Here is her email address as time is short; if you want to help out call her or contact her at msmith@wickedlocal.com

If you do look into this, let us know by replying to this thred.

Seems to me that we have no shortage of Father/Child teams - I hope someone from the club signs up.

Let's give her one of Claude's rockets and motors. If that's inappropriate, I'm happy to donate one of my A-D thrust rockets and set her up.

I can bring a rocket or two and some motors if she wants to really participate in the June 14th launch.

Guy.

Hi All:

Thanks for sharing Margaret's message. As my son Dylan and I have been doing rocketry together for nearly a decade (he just turned 14 two days ago), including the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Goddard's launch at the EcoTarium, I did reach out to her. Will let you know if she gets in touch.

Sadly, I won't be able to attend the June 14th launch in Acton.

Hope the weather cooperates!

David D

I'll do an interview and offer some photos of my sons and I. It might be tough to get one of my two sons to show up. They have girl friends and all.

I'm pretty sure the boys and I will be there. She can chat with us as well. Dave and Greg have been flying with me since they were three or four. They are turning twenty on Sunday!
