You need to act on this quickly. Kevin Scannell asked me to post this:

I have been asked to solicit judges for MA State Science Fairs. Would it be possible to forward this email to the membership?:

Dear [Name],

I’m volunteering as a judge with the Massachusetts Science & Engineering Fair (MSEF) this year, and they’re currently looking for additional judges in [category]. I immediately thought of you.

High School State Fair

April 9

DCU Center, Worcester

8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Qualification requirement: an advanced degree (masters or higher) or a bachelor's degree and 4+ years experience

It’s a one-day volunteer opportunity and a really inspiring way to support students as they present their independent research.

No prior judging experience is needed—just a STEM background and an interest in supporting young researchers. MSEF provides a 1-hour virtual training to make sure you feel prepared and confident.

Curious what it’s like? You can watch this short 90-second video for a quick preview. https://youtu.be/iAMLunJniXs

You can learn more and sign up here: scifair.com/judge

Or feel free to reach out directly to Sarah Thomas at sthomas@scifair.com

They’re hoping to finalize judges by this Friday, March 27, so I wanted to pass this along in case you’re interested.
