The American Rocketry Competition (TARC) recruitme...

Don't forget to look to non-math/science students to be on the team. The competition includes activities for humanity students (art for the finish of the rocket, business student could help with fund raising - motors and supplies cost money) and other disciplines can find something related to their studies, too.

I am a parent who, last year, supported the Milford High School Engineering Club in leading three teams to achieve 2nd and 3rd place at the Massachusetts state competition in the final year of the Real World Design Challenge (RWDC), which has since been replaced by the FAA competition.

This year, I am working with students from Milford High School to participate in the Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC). At present, we have two committed team members and are actively seeking additional participants. Since the minimum requirement to form a team is three members, we are looking to add at least one more student, though there is room for more.

The only fee would be to help out with the entrance fee, optional and to build the rocket the team would have to determine rocket budget. Deadline is December 6, so contact me ASAP. here or email cavalcanti.paula1@gmail.com.

Best Regards,

Paula C.
