Estes Universal Astro Cam 50% Off

The camera usually setts for $49.99. I have not seen it cheaper on any third party websites. I just ordered one. Shipping is $10.99. The total cost was $35.99. Estes has some selected kits at 50% off.

I recently received the Universal Astro Cam from Estes. It looks like an oversized flash drive. The directions were easy to follow. Not much to setup. It comes out of the box ready to go although you do have to charge the internal battery. The directions say 2-3 hours but after about 30 minutes, the blue light stopped blinking. I took a few videos around the house and I could not believe the quality of the video and audio. I'm not too keen on how the camera is secured to the body tube so I may try to find a better way. All suggestions are welcome.

I took the black USB cap/cover that can cover the USB section of the camera and epoxied it to a hat.  I don't know as the cap is any more secure then "strapping it down" with elastics, but I think it is more aerodynamic than the universal holder.

I got my cam with the AstroCam Rocket.  Does it still come with the black USB cap?
