I am also new and looking forward to joining in the launch event this coming weekend. But I do have a couple questions....

1) Is there a general sign up to gauge how many people will be attending? If I understand correctly the gathering size limit has been reduced to 50. I ask because I would be attending with my wife and 2 sons, so that alone is 4 total. Just want to make sure we don't drive to Acton and end up with a capacity issue.

2) As I have never been to a club launch I am new to the practices in place. Do I bring my rocket to the RSO table with recovery installed and motors/igniters in place? Or do I wait until general inspection to flight ready my rocket?

Thank you for any answers!

Welcome to the game!

So with restrictions as they are, as far as attendees go, you'll have to decide... It's a tough call.

So yes you will bring your vehicle ready to go to the RSO table. if I'm not mistaken your rocket may have everything ready to go with the igniter installed so long as it's low-to-mid power which is all we fly in acton anyway. There will be properly socially distanced queue,. and when you reach the head of the line the RSO will beckon you forward :-)

That begs the question, which one of the tri-state areas do you mean?

I'm originally from Connecticut so I always assume the CT/NY/NJ tri-state but I don't want to ignore the other 10.

I love it when they give out free State Area samples at Costco. I hate getting State Area home and then finding out I don't like it.
