Acton launch on Friday AM? (08/28/20)

Did I hear at the last club meeting that some folks were planning on meeting at School St. on Friday for some informal flying?

I plan on being there at 9 AM if the weather is good, which last I checked it looked pretty good. I plan to have my jawstand pad plus a small pvc based pad. I will have a controller or two with me as well. Just to be clear, this is a personal launch and not club sponsored, but others are welcome to use my equipment or bring their own. I will be practicing physical distancing and mask wearing.

I would have thought by now you'd be able to do it without any more practice.

Actually, it comes naturally. It is the not physically distancing that I really have to practice .

Yep - understood. I'd like to get some flying time in, so I'm going to try and show up. I'll be masked as well. Given your gear, sounds like I won't have to bring a pad or controller.
