RIMRA Fall '19 Schedule

RIMRA is going to schedule some bonus launches this year, in addition to our regular scheduled launches on the second Saturday of each month.

The first bonus launch is the Big Boy launch on 9/28. For more details, check out www.rimra.org or find us on Facebook. Here's the text from the announcement:


RIMRA will be hosting a bonus launch in September! We will launch rockets ranging from low power to high power, but if you live in New England and you have a big 'un in your garage, it's time to launch it! We have some of the best launch equipment available, a great field, and a great team of experienced steely-eyed missile men that can safely get your big project in the air. Hope to see you and your awesome rockets there!

(The launch ceiling is capped at 3k ft, so fat rockets, and impressive low-and-slow flights are the best fit for our field. See RIMRA.org for launch protocol.)

We are go for launch on 9/28. The weather looks great. Set up at 9:00. first flight will be ~9:45. Hope to see you there!

This was a great time. The RIMRA crew did a good job. The fliers had a fun time.

October Sky Launch

The Rhode Island Model Rocketry Association (RIMRA) and the Central Massachusetts Spacemodeling Society (CMASS) will hold a joint launch on October 19, 2019 at Peckham Farm in West Kingston, RI. Set-up for the launch will begin at 9:00 and first flights will begin shortly thereafter. Please see the launch protocol at www.rimra.org for more details about parking, waivers, etc.

RIMRA puts on a good launch. When you add the guys from CMASS it's a Win Win situation.
I have attended two RIMRA launches a year and had a wonderful time.
