Volunteers needed for student launch was created by ClaudeMaina
The English Language Camp has contacted us for help with a rocket launch for their students. We have helped them for the past few years and it has always been fun. The date is Thursday July 19 and will be at the Acton field on School Street. I haven't heard yet about student numbers or time, but in the past it has been from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm with about 20 or so high school-age students (I'll post as soon as I get more details about time, etc.). The students are from all over, their English is pretty good, and have no rocketry experience. There is usually two adult camp councilors with them and they supply their own rockets and motors. We need to set up and take down the launch equipment, and help them prep their rockets and load them on the launch pads. We usually use the Page School Rocketry equipment and set up 6 launch pads, with no PA system.

I'll be there and it would be helpful to have 2 or 3 other volunteers. Post here if you can help.

Thanks.
