Restrictions at Amesbury? was created by deangelo54
In the past we have reduced altitude and engine size at the Amesbury field. Someone asked me if those restrictions are permanent or only when the wind is blowing toward the power lines?

Conditions always dictate what flights will be able to be made. When the wind is blowing from the eastern quadrant in Amesbury, HPR will not take place and LPR and MPR will be restricted to 1000-feet or lower. As always, as conditions change, restrictions may be applied or lifted.

The Windy app (link toward the bottom of the page) shows gentle winds from the west this Saturday. Even with that, rockets and motors should be paired to ensure recovery on the field.
