Well, my weather call was good. We got a brief sprinkle at about 5:45 PM and then it cleared up! What I didn't expect was getting at Gallows Hill at 5 PM and seeing a very active softball game! My rocketry buddy and I lost hope the game would break up or end when a 3rd uniformed team in Blue appeared at 5:30 PM. They said they were there to play the winner (Red team or White team). At about 6:40 PM only one person showed up to see rocketry (Thanks Steve!). Probably just as well since the parking was overflowing into the adjacent grass field. The 3 of us saw that these guys were determined to play til dusk. I left at about 7:05 PM. I'm going to contact the Park & Rec people to see what happened.
