At Monday's CMASS meeting one of the attendees brought his son's Jr Level 1 project. Other than engine retention it looks real good. The problem is that only a little bit of the engine tube sticks out so you cannot attache an engine retention system. The engine tube is 38 mm and the airframe is ~ 2 inch tube. That does not leave much room. The rocket will be at the Acton launch on July 22, 2017. I will bring some 6-32 and 8-32 inserts along with some spacers and 6-32 screws. I sure all suggestions will be welcome.
