Joint Launch with RIMRA Rescheduled 08 Oct 2016

We'll give it another try.

The Joint launch we had scheduled for July this year got cancelled due to weather. The rescheduled date is now set for 08 October. Like our launch this past weekend in Maine, we'll be using a mix of systems. CMASS will have the 11-pad ring set up for LPR and MPR including 6-foot 1/4" rod and 1010 rail capabilities. RIMRA will have their wireless HPR pads set up. We've invited CATO to join us to do the cooking and provide the much needed crowd control. This will be a real October Sky Launch event.

Check out the RIMRA Launch information if you don't know about the limits and procedures at this field. As we saw at the Fliskits Anniversary Launch, it's always nice to get together with our fellow Southern New England flyers.

RIMRA has announced a "Closest to the Pin" and a trivia contest to be held at our joint launch. There is an entry fee but the prizes will be worthwhile. Check out the RIMRA site for details.

It's not going to be Hurricane Mathew but there will be some weather moving in later on Saturday. RIMRA will make the GO/NO GO call by 6 PM on Friday. Stay tuned.
