Our first launch of the year was wonderful. It wasn't clear that we were even going to be able to hold it until late Friday morning. The nice sunny weather that we look for in an ideal launch day also increases the fire hazard. Fortunately the low winds that were forecast decreased the hazard enough that the Amesbury FD gave us the okay. Evidently several people were busy building this winter because we had multiple Level 1 and Level 2 certification attemps. Some were successful and some were a learning experience. We had 258 flights from 1/8A to J and everything in between. Primary LCO Kenn was under the weather but we got by with the second string team. Thanks to everyone who helped out as LCO, RSO, food servers, drivers and range setup and teardown. Be sure to upload your pictures to the gallery and check out the ones that are already there.
