It was a great day for the joint CMASS/MMMSC launch at the sod farm in South Berwick, ME. The sky was overcast but there was no wind for most of the day and the temperatures were only in the 80's. Attendance was impressive with at least 50 individual flyers. There were 232 flights. Because of the huge field the trend was towards the high power end including an M flight but there were certainly plenty of A flights too. As usual there are pictures in the gallery and also as usual the number of people who posted pictures in the gallery is less than the number of people with cameras. Let us know if you're having difficulty uploading.
We got lucky and had good weather for both of our launches at Davis Field this year. We had a couple hundred flights at each of the launches bringing the per flight cost down to $1.50. Sudbury is not cheap but at least there's a portalble toilet. The trees seemed to attract rockets more than usual and a few are still up there. There are photos for May and June in the Gallery.
