Our Winter Follies launch actually had winter like weather this year. The ground was covered with snow although it wasn't very deep. Acton did an excellent job of plowing the parking area and a volunteer (sorry, didn't catch his name) cut a path through the show ridge with a little shovel so passage to the pad area was easy. It was reasonably sunny but it was also a little windy. Turnout was a little lower than in previous years. We still had Fliskits and AMW on site to sell kits and motors. We decided that there was little chance of setting the snow on fire so we allowed sparky flights. We had 76 flights. There are pictures in the gallery (from multiple people this time!).
