We had a fine ending for our 2012 flying season. As is often the case for our last launch of the year, the winds were low and the temperature was cool but pleasant. We had around 220 flights during the day that included some interesting demo flights from Fliskits, a lot of high power flights, a couple of impressive catos and, of course, the most impressive flight of the day, the Katan Hellboy 70 (actually 69 but who's counting?). There are photos in the gallery. If you haven't added yours yet, please do. We ended the day with a night launch which included the usual array of illuminated rockets and a RC plane with lights. It was getting a little cold near the end so eight of us quickly headed for Acapulco's where the manager took pity on us and found us a table in the crowded restaurant. Thanks to all of you who volunteered to make our launches run smoothly.
